Millipedes

Normally living in the outdoors, damp places, under decaying leaves, mulch and under potted plants, millipedes often feed on green leaves, roots and decaying vegetation. They are elongated, brown and black insects with an oval cross section that appears to have two pairs of legs attached to most of its body segments.
